From businesses like Staunton-based Tidy Green, Inc., a a cleaning company which uses only kid and pet-safe and biodegradable cleaning products, to George Bowers Grocery, which follows the standards outlined for Virginia Green certified businesses as established by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, SCCF encourages local entrepreneurs to decrease their carbon footprint and protect local air, soil, and water quality.
