Who They Are:

Rockingham Chiropractic is a new chiropractic and wellness center in Harrisonburg, founded by Dr. Gabriel Thomas. They provide natural health care to treat injuries and chronic pain, and to promote personal well-being.

Entrepreneurial Philosophy:

Dr. Thomas’s mission is to provide his patients with a service that will help them achieve and maintain their highest potential for health. Having gained a variety of experience in chiropractic care and wellness since 2001, Dr. Thomas brings his dedication to helping patients through different treatments, from chiropractic to physiotherapy and rehabilitation. He chose this career, he says, “because it offers him a sense of achievement, personal freedom, and most importantly the satisfaction of knowing that I will be making a difference to the lives of individuals and their families.” He also is an active public speaker and lecturer on wellness topics, which allows him to reach out to more individuals and share information and resources beyond his business.

How did you get here?

Dr. Thomas graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in June 2001. He pursued a career in chiropractic after graduating, in which he worked for over two years as an associate doctor and co-owned a successful chiropractic office in Louisville, Kentucky. Over the past five years, in addition to his chiropractic studies, Dr. Thomas also has obtained an education and worked as a neurophysiologist at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg. He states that this background has added to and improved his clinical experience as a doctor of chiropractic in numerous ways. As a result, he can appreciate that all forms of health care, including chiropractic, have their place and have something valuable to offer to an individual’s health.
